Guidance Counseling

Las Vegas Day School Guidance Counseling Department offers teachers, students and families a variety of services including a classroom guidance program, individual classroom observations, testing referrals as well as brief solution focused individual and small group counseling.

The philosophy of the guidance department is based upon sound educational objectives. The school guidance counseling focus is to enhance every student's academic, career, personal and social awareness.

Responsibility, self esteem, study skills, organization, high school placement, course selection and career exploration are just some of the topics covered with the students and their families.
